I have sat at many desks and never felt at peace. I have worn many clothes and never felt comfortable. I have been many places and knew that they were not where I was meant to be.

I got fired from my first job out of college because I left to hike the Appalachian trail. (I was supposed to have my job still when I got back but its a long story) This ending lead me to a new beginning at a new job with Indeed.com. I did sales for 4 years at Indeed. It was an "awesome" job. I always said if I was going to sit at a desk for 40 hours a week it would be there but even that idea started to fade. Something was always burning deeper inside me.

After a lot of planning and still probably not enough, I quit. I left my six figure job at age 28 to do something different with my life. I moved out of my house, I gave my Jeep back to the dealership, and I bought a Sprinter van. I converted it into my new home.

I then flew to the jungles of Costa Rica to study Yoga under Erin Kelly, Steph Gongora and Bianca Scalise at Flo Retreat Center. I found myself again here. I found so much more than I ever thought was possible.

Now back home in the states I am living on the road in my Sprinter van with my dog, Solaris, teaching donation yoga classes around the country.

I became a yoga teacher to share even a slight glimpse of what I found in the jungle. Come find me and I will give you the tools that you need to find the best version of you both on and off your mat.
